Akshay Kumar Wraps Up Shooting Of Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan In Delhi
Akshay Kumar and producer-director Aanand L Rai have wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film, Raksha Bandhan, in Delhi. Initially, the film had gone on floors in June. After shooting at a massive set put up in Mumbai, the team calls it a wrap in Delhi last night. Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, the film is all set to release in theatres on 11th August 2022 - Independence Day weekend.

Recently, Akshay Kumar shared a video on his Instagram account, in which he can be seen running in the busy marketplace. The actor mentioned that shooting in Chandni Chowk brought back many memories and made him nostalgic. The actor shared a video and wrote, "Today's morning run on the sets of #RakshaBandhan brought back so many memories as it was in my birthplace, Chandni Chowk. And how lovely it was to hear the chatter of the people around, never gets old."

Directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, the film is produced by Colour Yellow Productions, Zee Studios, Alka Hiranandani in association with Cape Of Good Films.

As for other projects, Akshay Kumar's kitty is full of interesting ones. The actor, as many know, has already wrapped up shooting for Atrangi Re, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey. He has now wrapped up Raksha Bandhan in Chandni Chowk. He is also shooting for 'Production 41' tentatively titled Cinderella with Rakul Preet Singh. Post that Akshay will take up the sequel of Oh My God. He will shoot for the same for 15 days and will later start working on Ram Setu. According to Pinkvilla, Ram Setu will be shot for over 40 days in Sri Lanka from Mid-November. Akshay's Sooryavanshi, also starring Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh is slated to release during Diwali this year.
